The twelfth and final scene consists of a cantatille followed by dancing; an ariette, also followed by dancing; and a 4-verse vaudeville.

Grandval was a French composer and author. "Born into a family of actors, the young Grandval joined a travelling theatrical troupe for which he wrote divertissements and incidental music.
