Overpaste with printed names of [Adelina] Patti, [Giorgio] Ronconi, [Antonietta] Fricci, [Edouard] Gassier, and other distinguished singers at Covent Garden to cast list. "June 8th 1865" in contemporary manuscript to upper margin of cast list.

Wrappers with tape repairs. Some creasing, wear, and light pencil marks; occasional very light foxing; tape repairs to lower outer corners of first two leaves.

First performed on October 29, 1797 in Prague, "[Don Giovanni] was the second operatic collaboration of Mozart and his librettist Lorenzo da Ponte, who, some fifteen months earlier, had had a great success with their Le nozze di Figaro. Their third and last opera together was to be Così fan tutte. This triumvirate of masterworks has earned them their current reputation as one of the world's greatest opera-writing teams..."
