Slightly browned; two edge tears repaired; remnants of hinges to upper corners of verso.

Dugazon, a French soprano, studied with Marie Favart. She was the daughter of the Paris Opéra dancer François Jacques Lefèbvre.

"Grétry wrote an ariette for her in Lucile, which was performed at the Comédie-Italienne in 1769, and she made her official début there in 1774 as Pauline in his opera Silvain... She took part in about 60 premières at the Comédie-Italienne and Opéra-Comique, including several by Grétry... She created roles in several operas by Nicolas Dalayrac including La dot (1785), Nina (1786z... in which she sang the title role, possibly her most successful part, and Maison à vendre (1800)."
