Binding slightly worn, rubbed, and bumped, cloth to lower board somewhat stained and wrinkled; hinges partially split. Occasional small chips, tears, repairs, and light soiling; small rectangular publisher's handstamp to lower margin of second leaf. Lacking title.

Manon, to a libretto by Meilhac and P. Gille after A.-F. Prévost's L’histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut, was first performed in Paris at the Opéra Comique (Favart) on January 19, 1884.
