Mikhail Kuzmin was both a writer and composer, but far more successful as a writer. Chiming Clock of Love, first published in 1910, is a cycle of poems.
Like Kuzmin, the illustrators Sudeikin [Soudeikine] and Feofilaktov [Theophilaktoff] were both associated with the Mir iskusstva (World of Art) movement. Soudekine is well-known as an important costume and set designed for ballet, opera, and theatre. Item #30767
