Slightly worn and foxed; upper margin slightly darkened, not affecting image or autograph.

Ein Walzertraum, to a libretto by F. Dörmann and L. Jacobson after H. Müller's Das Buch der Abenteuer, was first performed in Vienna on March 2, 1907.

Straus, an Austrian composer and conductor, quite well-known for his operettas and salon music, studied with Grädener on the recommendation of Brahms and then went to Berlin in 1891 as a pupil of Bruch.
