Wagner writes to inform Neumann that his opera "Herzog Wildfang" is going to be performed in Munich on March 19th; he hopes that the director will be able to attend.

Herzog Wildfang was first performed in Munich on March 23, 1901.
Siegfried Wagner, the only son of Richard and Cosima Wagner, was both a composer and conductor. Along with his mother, he carried on the Bayreuth Festival until his death.
