She made her Metropolitan début in 1917 as Delilah and was engaged there for 15 years; her repertory included Gluck’s Orpheus, Léonore (La favorite), Fidès (Le prophète), Carmen, Marina (Boris Godunov), Brangäne, Kundry and Fricka."
