Together with an autograph note on an album leaf 5-1/2" x 8" (140 x 223 mm.): "With many thanks for your kind thought. Very sincerely yours," signed in full and dated 1918.

Easton was associated with the Metropolitan Opera from 1915 to 1929. "Her pure tone, sound technique and excellent musicianship singled her out even in the brilliant assembly of singers collected by Gatti-Casazza. She was immensely versatile, with a repertory ranging from Brünnhilde to Carmen and the reputed ability to appear at a moment’s notice in any one of over 100 roles. Herman Mishkin (1870-1948) served as the Metropolitan Opera's official portraitist from 1908-1932, producing an important body of work documenting "The Golden Age of Opera." Item #31116
