Second edition, with corrected title page. Mona 692. Rare (no copies located). Contemporary to the first Hungarian performance of the work.

The first issue of this work was attributed to György Arnold (1781-1848), who died before Trovatore was written. There is no record of Jószef Pékáry other than a few piano works and brief mentions as a musician in Pest.

Verdi's famous Il Travatore was premiered in Rome on January 19, 1853 and soon spread throughout the world. It was performed in Vienna on May 11, 1854 and in Pest on October 31, 1854.
