Moderately worn and browned; title adhered down to outer wrapper at inner margin, slightly defective throughout; tears to lower portion of each leaf, not affecting music; annotations to text in pencil.
First Edition. Scarce (no copies located in the U.S.).
Austrian composer and bandmaster Philipp Fahrbach (Junior) followed in his father's footsteps, taking over his orchestra in 1855. The elder Fahrbach had worked closely with Johann Strauss in Vienna.
