Photograph signed in full in dark purple ink at lower margin and inscribed "Das Wort is Nichts! Die That– Alles!" at upper margin. Verso addressed to Herrn Elémér Glass in Budapest.
Slightly worn; small crease slightly affecting signature.
Elizza made her début at the Vienna Staatsoper in 1895 and performed there regularly until 1919. Lotte Lehman was one of her students in Vienna.
