It is possible that the reference to Luigi Morini on the front pastedown may be to the Bolognese tenor [Francesco] Luigi Morini (ca. 1811-1844). Morini "might have been the father of Giuseppa Faustina, the daughter of Strepponi ..." Phillips-Matz: Verdi, p. 798.
