Il ritorno di Pulcinella, an opera buffa in 2 acts to a libretto by Andrea Passaro, premiered in Naples at the Teatro Nuovo on 28 December 1837. It was performed as Il ritorno di Columella in Milan on 17 June 1842.

Vincenzo, the son of composer Valentino Fioravanti, had great success with his Neopolitan opera buffe, of which Il ritorno di Pulcinella was the most popular.
