Binding worn, rubbed, bumped, faded, and slightly warped; spine lacking; boards partially detached. Some internal wear and browning. The "Kaffeekantate," Bach's cantata no. 211, Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht, was composed ca. 1734 and refers to the developing passion for coffee in contemporary Leipzig.
