Quarter dark red morocco with dark red pebbled cloth boards with decorative gilt cornerpieces within gilt rules to upper and lower, raised bands on spine in decorative compartments gilt, titling gilt, moire-patterned ivory endpapers, all edges gilt. 1f. Binding slightly worn, rubbed, and bumped; endpapers stained and soiled. Minor internal wear and browning; small oval publisher's partial handstamp to lower outer margin of title.
