Small oblong octavo. Plain contemporary stiff waxed wrappers with decorative titlling in manuscript to upper. 37 pp. containing 66 tunes + 16 pp. containing 3 tunes (including several blank pages) + 2ff. (tunes indexed by meter). With signature of contemporary owner "Edw. Holden" with flourish to upper outer corner of upper wrapper. Watermark of an eagle with outstretched wings.

Contains 69 tunes in total, all in bass clef except one, titled as follows:
