Publisher's decorative printed label "Omaggio degli Editori" to lower margin of front free endpaper. With an invitation dated 3 May 1935 to Mr. and Mrs. Spelman from the president of the Teatro Comunale in Florence to attend a performance of Orsèolo.

Binding somewhat worn, rubbed, bumped, and stained; shaken; hinges split. Light uniform browning; some signatures split.

First Edition.

First performed in Florence at the Teatro Comunale Vittorio Emanuele II on 4 May 1935 under the direction of Tullio Serafin.
