Contains three duets for two sopranos with piano or harp accompaniment:
- "Solitario bosco ombroso"
- "La mia Fille il mio bel foco"
- "Dite almeno amiche"

With small oval handstamp of the Glasgow Society of Musicians and "33" in pencil to lower inner corner of title; "14" in contemporary manuscript to head of title.

Slightly worn and soiled.

Cherubini, an Italian, composer, conductor, teacher, and music publisher, active in France, "was a dominant figure in Parisian musical life for half a century. He was a successful opera composer during the Revolutionary period, and had comparable success with religious music from the beginning of the Restoration.
