The composer is depicted full-length, his head turned left to look at the viewer, his hands and feet actively engaged in performing at the organ. He wears a long coat, ruffled shirt, britches. and hose.
Image size 400 x 275 mm; sheet size 522 x 372 mm. Printed by J. Hesse on wove paper on an off-white ground.
Slightly worn and soiled; several marginal repairs.
Hamman, a Belgian painter and engraver, specialized in portraying famous artists, scholars, and the nobility.
