Walpurgis composed the music and wrote the libretto to both Il Trionfo, first performed in Dresden in 1754, and Talestei, first performed in Nymphenburg in 1760. She studied music with both Porpora and Hasse in Dresden and was both a patron of the arts as well as an active creator and participant.
